Muaz Chaudhry

Aabyaz is a young leader in the INGO field with expertise in community engagement and advocacy with a focus on human rights, law and policy implementation.

Aabyaz completed his undergraduate studies in Business Studies at Lahore School of Economics and holds a master’s in project management. Aabyaz has been a prominent young human rights activist since the age of 16 and has successfully led multiple initiatives for the marginalized communities in Pakistan. Aabyaz brings with him years of expertise in facilitation, activism, advocacy, finance, and project management. Among his career highlights is supporting and representing the movement of Transgender Protection Rights Act 2018 locally and internationally as well as advocacy efforts and volunteer work for Transgender community in Pakistan through the platform of Wajood. Beyond borders, Aabyaz has also been involved in supporting mass relocation of Minority Afghan Refugees as Programs Officer at Rainbow Railroad in 2021 as well as an executive at Edge, a financial corporation based in the USA for the past 3 years

As CEO of Gender Rights Watch, Aabyaz remains steadfast in their commitment to creating a society where every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and equality, regardless of their identity or expression. Their leadership is guided by the belief that true progress is only possible through collective action and solidarity, and are dedicated to mobilizing communities, allies, and stakeholders in the pursuit of justice and equality for all.

When Aabyaz is not in the office, he enjoys working out and traveling the world.
